We are excited to share something a little different today – alternative gothic wedding inspiration featuring our black garter. We were so excited for it to be featured on Unconventional Wedding recently, and now it is time to show all of you that you don’t have to be traditional when choosing a bridal garter.
We designed and lovingly made from Nottingham lace (a lace we use a lot in our work – as we are based locally and therefore love that we can support this traditional fabric), black silk ribbon and a handmade flower.
These are embroidered hankies made by our sister company Extra Special Touch.
“My favourite photo … has to be our gorgeous tattooed bride Hayley in her veil. The shot is so hauntingly beautiful, and I feel so drawn to the image. It gives me chills and heart flutters – she looks like a gorgeous bride at the same time as looking like a ghostly figure. It matches perfectly with the venue we were privileged to shoot in as it’s both a cemetery and a wedding venue!“

We particularly love how the bride here has a traditional wedding dress in ivory (albeit cooler than a lot of designs!) and then has flashes of black – her boots, jewellery and of our course her black wedding garter.
