Heidi is a born and bred Nottingham girl, and from a young age was fascinated with the local history of Nottingham Lace. She studied Historical Costume Making at Bournemouth Art College and has always had a love for vintage fashions, embroidery and working with pretty materials.
When I designed my bridal garters, there was no question that I would use locally made Nottingham Lace. Not only is the factory only a few miles away from our studio, but its made to antique designs on vintage lace looms!
She works with her small, highly skilled team from a studio on the outskirts of Nottingham.
