Luxury bridal garters, handcrafted with English lace.
At The Nottingham Lace Garter Co, we create bespoke bridal garters, using the finest Nottingham lace—a fabric steeped in history, quality, and royal tradition. The same lace seen in Princess Diana’s and Kate Middleton’s wedding dresses is woven into every piece we make.
Our lace is still produced in the last factory of it’s type in the UK, on original lace looms in Nottingham, preserving authentic vintage designs that have been cherished for generations.
Founded by Heidi, a theatrical costume graduate with a passion for lace and embroidery, the brand grew from her first business, Extra Special Touch, The Embroidered Napkin Co in 2018. In 2020, she launched The Nottingham Lace Garter Co, a dedicated space for her exquisite, handcrafted garters.
Unlike mass-produced accessories, every garter is individually handcrafted from start to finish by a single person in Heidi’s small team. From delicate stitching to final packaging, each piece is made with care, ensuring it is as unique as the bride who wears it.
Heidi and her team work from their Nottingham studio, using locally sourced Nottingham lace, pure silk ribbons, and fine trimmings. Every garter is carefully made to order, beautifully packaged, and shipped to brides worldwide.
With a strong commitment to sustaining UK textiles, we proudly source materials locally—supporting traditional craftsmanship while making a conscious choice for the future.
Handmade in England, individually crafted, to be cherished forever as a future heirloom.
